Doing things you don't want to do doesn't make you an adult. Although a true adult has a certain attitude when having to do something they don't want to do, I feel that being an adult is having the wisdom and power to do things your own way and deal with the consequences maturely.

Routine. Do what you like, or what you want to do, and do it over and over again. Force yourself to do so until it becomes the "Normal". Stay healthy, exercise. Surprisingly it gives you more energy in the long run and determination. Sometimes you just need to try something new that you think you may of always liked but never had the time for. That's what I do when in a slump.
Planning out on what I want to do? Think what makes you happy, what you like doing, what you Want to do. Then do a bit research on said subject, How other's have become successful at that specific thing, and the requirements you'll need, whether it be a certain level of schooling, athleticism, practice, ect. Then, the above. Routine.
Humans are funny things. We like to be lazy. But the only way to get what we want is to force it. And the only way to be truly happy, is to be happy with the life you have. You never work a day in your life if you love your work after all.
