One, it's about a three hour drive from where I currently am (6hrs back and forth). Two, my wife and son would be coming (going to my parents). Three, that all adds up. Hell, the gas would be more than $10. Add an extra zero and we might actually be able to discuss. I did say I'm not cheap. And at $100, you might even get me to hiss like a cat, at a neighbor or two. Oh, but let's add in time... SEE, $100 will get you thirty minutes (Being generous here), but act now and for $1,000 you'll get a good days worth.

Maybe off-topic, but what about maid cafes? It's more or less the same business with people being lonely, except maids can't leave the cafe.

I'd try it at least once, (being the one rented, not renting) it could be interesting to see what kind of date they would have in mind. Who knows, you may find someone who is a genuinely good person and just got unlucky with the dating game. I mean, you could find a few creeps too, but surely companies that rent out dates would have protections and good lawyers.
