@momoichi oh yes it is very smart. Cannibals in new guinea would get a disease from eating brain and spinal tissue. So only eating limbs was probably the healthiest way to eat human meat.

@kuharido I know your talking about Aztecs, I was bringing up what I heard in history class which was that when the (I think they were Mayans?) wanted to make peace with the Aztecs they met, and the Aztecs took away their princess to "prepare her with honor" but it turns out they sacrificed her, which was honorous to them, but the king was livid. idk how accurate that is, I just remember it from history class

@hell_hound7 But why? I assume it's because you were conditioned by society that "farm animals" aren't "friend animals" and are "food animals" and that "pet animals" were different as well. Is this a correct assumption? If not please clarify.

I have had a pet cow before, still eat cows. Had pet chickens before, still eat chicken. Its just something i dont wanna eat. Same way eating ducks are still acceptable by society but i dont wanna eat ducks. I dont need a reason.

@hell_hound7 But that doesn't mean that society doesn't condition you to see farm animals as food animals and categorizes other animals as friend animals. Why else would you see one for food and the other for friend? Try and clarify this.

@momoichi I think the Mayans were not a political group but a collection of tribes with a similar background. The Aztecs would have been a separate civilization. So I think it was fair game on the Mayans. I have to do some research on that story though. Cause I don't know that story off the top of my head.

I can tell you why I see eating cows as disgusting, why can't you tell me why you see eating dogs as disgusting? Why does cow meat look delicious but dog meat caused you to cringe? It's a simple question that I'm able to answer, why aren't you?
