@momoichi (I'm on break real quick) That's a weird hypothetical no offense. One, the drunk victim caused the crash and only has to lay in a bed for 9 months acting as the other man's liver to keep him alive. That is alot better than being taken to court and you can make amends to the damage you cause. Two, the case of pregnancy being that of a rape aftermath is more appropriate and I relate more to it because my father raped my mother. She was approached with the choice to abort me. She chose not to in the end even though the doctor said having me might kill her literally. I was supposed to come out blind and deaf due to the fluid in the sac leaking out way too early too. My mom hated my father for all the abuse and rape but thought it would not be fair to me if my life was snuffed out because of my origins. Sex shouldn't be take so lightly nowadays either, because fooling around leads to getting pregnant believe it or not. I did not know about my origins until I became old enough and my mom confessed it to me before anyone else said anything. She made it clear I was not a mistake and I was the best surprise she ever had. Now I make sure she is well taken care of while my siblings fuck around so in the end she made the right choice. No child is asked to be brought into this world. Their parents should not be fooling around in the first place and if it was the same situation as mine they do not even need to keep the child. Just make sure he or she finds a good home to live their life in with people who love them.

Would you play around with a loaded gun knowing you might fire it off on accident? No. And those who do have to live with that decision. This is supposed to be young adults who choose to fuck. If a woman is scared of child birth then they should have had the guy wore a condom and use plan B.

Have you ever held a newborn baby? 4 months prior to you holding them they could have been killed in the womb looked at as a nuisance on the mother's livelihood. Is that moral? Would you kill that newborn?

@solid_snake95 vegan gains crafted the hypothetical, and i thought it was pretty applicable, so i wanted to test it out :P plus, the rate of car accidents is 2% (while sober, that is), same as the risk of pregnancy without protection, so its even more analgus I disagree that its better, because your bodily autonomy is being treaded on, and i take that very seriously. A court shouldn't be allowed to usurp your ownership over your own body, which is the crux of my belief on abortion. I favor the mothers bodily autonomy over the fetus inside her. As far as the rape analogy, it isn't, because that's a niche case where almost everyone agrees abortions should be allowed. I'm arguing on behalf of all abortions before the 6th month mark, where the baby has sentience). I'm sorry to hear about that, but stories like that don't mean much to me, because i see myself as the opposite. If my mother was smart, she would have aborted me. She was in no situation to get pregnant and was stuck marrying a man that was a piece of garbage. Plus, if I was never born, how could I want to live? It's amoral in my opinion because before the baby gains consciousness, it is not sentient, and therefore I give it no moral consideration. It doesn't want to live, so what do I care if it dies? The mother, on the other hand, is extremely sentient, so i prioritize her well being. I'd rather stick to the hypothetical though so this stays as simple and quick as possible. So you believe it would be moral for the courts to tell a man he has to become another man's liver for 9 months? Keep in mind, he's vomiting every morning, he gets body aches, back pains, and hes constantly uncomfortable, toward the end of these 9 months he can't work, and he could die once they detach him from the other man. Is this moral?

oh i didnt see the other stuff hmm, well i dont think of the fetus, i think of the mother i dont think a child should be born when the mother doesn't even want it, and at the moment that fetus doesn't want to live or die. the mother is the authority as shes the one providing it with life its no different then a family member asking for life support to be turned off imo

personally i couldnt get an abortion, im catholic and id go to hell but id never force that opinion on a young mother that isn't able to provide for a child, that's the cruelest thing imo

Yes exactly but at the same time she needs to have the responsibility and knowledge of being safe and that sex makes babies. Imagine just coming into life and being taken out of it like that meanwhile. Parents who do want children end up having a child die a stillborn.

the thing is sex isnt used for procreation, its used as recreation, even among couples we don't do it to make a baby, we do it for fun, we do it to build a connection, so i don't hold them responsible when that wasn't there intent

I'm not changing my mind sorry. And a fetus is still a baby human and it's just wrong to kill them. If a woman does not want a child they can give them up for adoption. Before they even gain sentience is an excuse to murder now? You know the egyptians tossed babies into the nile infested with sharks before. How is this any different when the result is the same?

If a mother does not want to go through child birth she should have thought about that prior. Yes it is her body but that child's body is their body not hers.
