Cause when I was watching it they kept repeating that they were in the Capitol, but they were also saying they were in a secret undisclosed area

i havent watched any actual news coverage of it, i was working when it actually happened and only saw them talking about it after, and when the senate remet i thought they said they came back in, but maybe they just meant in the senate meeting room

Even your basic State Governor has a safe room in the state capitol. A few of them are actually equipped with NBC protection.

I haven't been in one, but there are rumors that valuable artifacts are in these safe rooms as well. Rumor is that in the New Hampshire safe room in the Governor's office they have John Stark's personal pistol.
