any advice on getting over heartbreak?

my ex and I broke up recently and I'm looking for any advice on getting over heartbreak. it's my fault that the breakup happened and I could've prevented it. so I'm just looking for any advice/support.

I know that feeling all too well. There's not really much you can do to get over it besides just wait for time to heal your wounds. Some people say the best way to forget a lost love is to find a new one but from my experience that's not how it works. Just stay strong and look forward to tomorrow.

I've never been heart broken before because all my ex's were just mean to me in a way but once actually nvm i have. it really did suck so i just talked to friends alot and for me personally play games with friends that make you laugh. im here to talk if u ever need anyone

Cant say i know what it feels like to breakup with someone as ive been single all my life, but what i can say is that there are people out there who're probably much better than him/her and you'll find the right person. if ive been single 21 years (my entire life basically) then you can be single too and be happy with who you are and enjoy the little things in life. btw before anyone asks yeah ive been single all my life big whoop? tbh its been nice not rushing into a relationship. Id rather wait for the right person than rush into things (Which sadly most of my family and friends have done and they all learnt things the hard way) @adriiuhh trust me you'll find the right person, just take it one day after another, enjoy the little things and do what you enjoy. thats what i do and i get by fine :)
