I'd hate to sound like a nihilist, but it really doesn't matter. Some people will only see the good in you, others will only see the bad. Most will see both and will decide for themselves if you're "good" or "bad" to them. The best one can do is be the kind person you'd want to have in your life.

It's far more simple than you're making it out to be. It all depends on the specific situation. You will never have an exact point for point same circumstance, and the solutions for these complications will vary due to this. For instance. Human's DO have a large level of control over most outcomes from their decisions and actions, while this isn't always the case, most of the time, A will lead to B. You have to use your intelligence and common sense to figure out the likelihood of success and what Success means in the situation. For instance, If someone's car breaks down, and you see this. You can, stop, and help them out. Maybe it was a quick fix, like the car battery being low, or maybe it's a big issue, and you can't fix it immediately, and they've already called for someone to pick them up. But should you not stop because there's a possibility that you helping them won't convince them to teach themselves about car problems? That's a foolish notion. Of course the right thing to do, is to stop and help them out. Now, Let's jump to a different circumstance. Say, you have a little brother, two, four years younger than you. He's once again, for the fourth time, Had you drive him to a party, because he refuses to pay a fine that makes his license suspended until paid. What is the right answer? Depends on the party. Is it a family party, or just a friends get trashed for Christmas party? The former you still should do, However the latter you shouldn't. Let him miss his fun get together, Sure he may be pissed at you for not letting him have his fun, But he's obviously not learning his lesson, So more extreme measures are necessary. It's not so simple as, Every single version of "This situation" necessitates an action by your part, or as complex as, being a big jigsaw puzzle. Here's another example, Maybe you see a man and a woman arguing in a parking lot, and see the man hit the woman. Most men's first reaction would be to attack the man, But perhaps later you find out that the woman had already been physically assaulting him earlier?(After all near to half of all domestic abuse is perpetrated on males.) Are you wrong for coming in to help her? Yes. Does that mistake make you a bad person? No. Did it come from a bad place? No. There's an important saying that answer's this question perfectly. "Evil only triumphs, When good men do nothing." Do your actions matter? always. Are all choices as important as others? No. While with people taking advantage of your good nature can be a legitimate issue, It's yours to fix. Either you're being too naive and not seeing the signs around you, or you are ignoring them because you don't want to believe someone you may care about is using you. Both are issues of yours to be fixed. It's not hard to tell when someone is being disingenuous, Once you know the signs. So to answer your question. Yes, The consequences of your Deeds matter, whether you did them for the right reason or not, The consequences of those actions won't just vanish because you were doing it from the kindness of your own heart. That said, That doesn't mean you should do nothing, because that's an equally extreme notion, only in the opposite of the spectrum. The only way to do what's right, is to have a good head on your shoulders, and do the best you can to figure out what "Right" is, so you don't do something you regret afterwards.

I do care about consequences of "good deeds" I do , so I predict those consequences at times (¬‿¬).Sure I have to make sure I won't be severely harmed in the first place. So far what I have done has positive effects on involved people's lives it seems..At least they haven't sworn at me, people remember me not only because of my height heh.I am a powerless person, I am not against basic laws, I think carefully and critically, so I don't believe my deeds would directly be detrimental to the society, the country, the continent, the planet.
