Too many people like to feel good about themselves being outraged on other people's behalf even when it clearly isn't necessary.

It takes a "special" kind of person to make things such as.... "people should be treated with kindness and understanding" "people should be treated equally" "people need help and support (sometimes)" "everyone faces adversity and hard times" "treat people with compassion" (and more) and make it seem completely putrid and annoying

Really, hate speech is free speech. It's just words/opinions. Nonetheless, I agree with OP.

Al Sharpton, makes comments about racism, is proven wrong about those exact comments, never apologized even though he demands apologies when he feels offended

Also no offense but I do have to agree with Ed a little bit, I've heard multiple stories from multiple sides and I do like you dagger but sometimes you do seem to go a little bit the wrong way but that's just my opinion
