Lamby, The guy showed screenshots of her admitting it. And it's perfectly reasonable to be upset over it, and want to Vent about it. We were just giving advice(And fucking around), Or at least I was. Cheating is a bad thing, it should be called out. Now that doesn't make the person evil, or anything, But it's something they should learn to not do again. Also she was trying to put her declining mental state on said person, and suicidal thoughts in turn. Something NO ONE has the right to do. As your mental state is your own responsibility.

i looked over the evidence and didnt really see "cheating" persay, but maybe i didnt read it correctly my point is making a thread about it is harassment its calling her out for something that was between you and a few people, its private cheating is gross but considering shes just a teenager and these people are in there 20s i think its something you need to get over and grow from dont trust someone you met online and dont make a spectacle over your private life online if this was over her lying about her catfishing, maybe but just saying her age is different? slap on the wrist and ask her to change it if she refuses go to a mod this wasnt necessary in the least high school is tough enough to have to go through this stuff too

well if you mean sending nudes when your under age the teen sending the nudes is copable for spreading child porn along with the recieve for having child porn so theyr both punished if no nudes were exchanged then no harm done i think

Ah, so you want to see nudes, then? Can't prove it either way and then youd be in posession of underage nude pictures. Anyways... If an underaged person met up with an adult (19 is an adult while 16 is still considered underage in most areas.), it's no harm? See, you're supposed to be a mod (Of what exactly? I couldn't say.) and therefore have an ounce more common sense than the average user. You meme in serious threads, you joke, but hardly look at the full picture. I realize this thread is a dead horse beaten to a pulp at this point, but I think there's room to learn as mods and a community from little tirades such as this. On one hand, this should've been shut down right from the get go and dealt with privately. On another hand, people need to be aware of how to spot and avoid predators (A predator can prey on anything from insecurities to physicality.) and as such this whole thing should've been focused differently and not have become a (little) public lynching. Not to mention, how wrong is it for someone to use thier mental instability as a weapon of pity? High school be damned.

Regardless of what transpired privately, I think the crux of the issue lies with these 20+ year old men. They're coming off as very desperate, and proceeding with a total lack of discernment. You shouldn't be thinking of anything beyond TALKING without knowing for certain the other person is for real. There are commonsense approaches in establishing that the girl you're talking with is of age, and is for real. Like Skype, talking on the phone, and getting to know the other person. I suspect many of you don't even try to communicate beyond simple sentences, and lulzy notions. And if that girl doesn't prove herself to be real? SO WHAT!! Lol, it's the internet. There are plenty of fish in the sea. It all boils down to yourselves honestly, and how you communicate.
