Didn't somebody already make a thread about this. Yes, everyone on the internet has heard of the Mandela Effect. I must be the only one who correctly remembers "The Berenstain Bears", not because of the spelling, but because I remember everyone pronouncing it as "BerenstAYNE" as opposed to "BerenSTEEN". I don't think there is such a thing as somehow accidentally falling into a parallel dimension and suddenly find slight changes into the universe we know, or think we know. I honestly thought Merle Haggard and Aretha Franklin died over a decade ago, as opposed to just recently, but I was clearly mistaken.

If there was a thread that was buried on this matter, then my bad.
However, I agree in most cases it seems to be contributed to Mass Confabulation, people feeding off of each others perception of their own memories. The only one that does get me however is the "What if I told you?" line that isn't in the matrix. I remember right after that movie was released, on the old forums, that line use to be one of the most used memes at that time.

@PQ yours is a perfect example of confabulation. Various errorneous memes/advertisements/public talks is what causes mass confabulation :p
