@Necro, I think dating is possible on here, but the problem are the lurkers. Imo, they make the site less pleasant. I don't trust people easily myself so that's kinda why I don't accept random friend requests anymore unless I've interacted enough with someone, read their bio and know it's someone I can trust to befriend.

Lurkers are anti-social cowards that hide in the shadows of MO and specifically harass female users because they cannot control their mental illness. When I first joined here, there were actually way more troll threads than I could count, but back then the site look was much different than it is now.
