Things you learned from MO -> a small reflection to the most active users

@elizabeth_hart I get that. This site has all sorts. I think there are some people who are genuinely nice, but they play a part on the forum. Then there are the weirdos who do actually think and act like that. It take awhile to get the true feel of a person here because of how weebs act in general and how the forum kinda encourages and eggs on the behavior, and people will participate even if it is something they actually wouldn't do or say. I wouldn't say everyone has an inner predator. It's just a combination of people not knowing how to act in general, people not knowing how to act cause they thirsty, people acting, and maybe some people who are bad at flirting. Lord knows I am that last one.

I've been around here since July of 2019 I wanna say? Definitely have seen my share of drama for the duration I've been here, whether it's a user venting about revenge creating a thread posting personal info about a user after a breakup. -teen drama intensifies- users complaining about constant loneliness and blah blah blah. I try not to stand out a whole lot, so I tend to post music or whatever I like, sometimes try to be funny with silly memes. I've met a few cool people on this site and talk to them occasionally and there are times when I've left cause stuff like that does get to me. There's definitely weirdos and from what I've observed, and lurkers that hide in the shadow sending weird messages to users. I also feel like this site mostly feels like a dating competition and it's mostly male users where I've heard and seen types of immature behavior when it should just be a fun and cool site for people to meet other anime fans of such and such series, gamers, other hobbies etc. Dating is in there but it shouldn't be the focus it's more about making friends with diverse or similar tastes in hobbies, and there's a lot of users who are not very good at opening up to people or struggle with social anxiety and whatnot. But yeah, this is all basically my observation of the site.

I learned that you can’t really trust anyone on here, except for a slight few good people. I learned that there’s no way that dating will work on here.
