Okay about the "Professor Scam" bit, the thing is it's another Ed Edd n Eddy reference. I didn't really think about how it might set off some red flags because of having "scam" in it but I also kinda wanted to highlight the fact that I have a really stupid obsession with a cartoon. I might change it to something less niche. I appreciate some of the advice, and the non-advice too. I'll keep an eye on this thread though in case any other people decide to drop some suggestions. Also is the John Lennon look really that obvious? I didn't think people would automatically make the connection just from the John Lennon branded glasses I just like some of his music and thought the glasses would look good on me fml

Professor Scam was setting off red flags so I changed it to a different Ed Edd n Eddy themed name lmao I kinda got the feel that this wasn't a serious dating site after seeing 80% of people not even have a pic of their actual face on their profile. But OKcupid and PoF are real dating sites and those aren't working for shit either which is what's bogging me down

I don't know. I mean, I found my wife on pof. Not that I'd say it's a sure thing or even a safe bet, just that it can work.
