Is there different types of Perverts in the world?

I feel that a lot of people misunderstand the word pervert and feel that it is similar to a sex offender or a pedophile of that sort but I feel that there is different types of perverts in the world even when it comes to anime and hentai. Some anime characters that are perverts are Lowkey and others are not embarrassed to say that they are and willing to say who they are without feeling any repercussions to it. Well what do you think about the topic?

I'm not afraid to be one online, but in person I'm really hardly at all around people I don't know. And even then not really.

There are many kinds and varieties of perverts... Infact in psychology and forensic science you have a category made only to differentiate the various types of perverts.

There are indeed different types. Anime wise, I know of a few. Top three are: Miroku from Inuyasha. Flirts with all the pretty ladies and see if any of them are willing to bear his child. Jiraiya from Naruto, with his "research" at the hot springs for his books. Happosai from Ranma 1/2: Master Underwear Thief. Come are more comical and I'm sure we have some more of the hard core ones out there somewhere that are slipping from my mind at the moment. But a lot of people are using pervert for sex offender and pedophile too much when it probably isn't true. Least not on a creepy level. WE all might say a good giggidy jokes from time to time. But that doesn't make us perverted. It just means we have a bit of a dirty-ish humor., especially if we joke like that once in a while and not everyday. @LaughingMan~dD: Really? I did not know that.

Right now I am glad that I brought it up because I know that a lot of people have been bringing up the word pervert and making it seem like we are criminals or bad people especially me when I consider myself the king of perverts but people make it seem like I am some creepazoid or pedophile of some sort or someone that is just wanting to get into somebody's pants and not how they feel whatsoever. I always tell people that there is a different type of pervert but people make it seem like there is only one type in one type only.

So they're clumping all "perverts" together to make things more convenient for them. How sad. That can almost be the same as being racist and/or stereotypical. I mean, I admit I'm someone who sometimes says "That's what she said" and "giggidy" but that's kind of it. But I at least know when and where to joke like that, and not around people who don't understand the humor.

Edit: Reason: Bad structure. As long as it isn't said in a creepy tone/matter, it should be fine. Along with if they're really close friends that understand your sense and style of your humor. Besides, long skirts. That is all.
