have u ever joined a anime club?

Clubs weren't much of an option at my school if at all unfortunately, otherwise I'd probably have joined a music, art, gaming, or comic club perhaps.

I joined an anime club when I was in college. ( ་ ⍸ ་ ) Ringo Anime Club. We organized some interesting activities to let more students know ACG ┗(＾0＾)┓.

I was in a kinda "anime" group; my friend and i, stablished a group of drawing, but because were mostly drawing anime, it become a anime group. At first was cool, mostly of the members were nice and the meetings were fun, but because most of the oldes and active members started to studing in the university, there was a lack of time to maintaining the group and a lot of people were to lazy to made activites for the new members, so for now, the only remaining thing is a ghost page in Devianart...

Didn't have any club at any of my school's like that, that I knew of anyways. But I'd imagine the cringe would be unbearable...

About your extra question: I ended up getting paired with that Weird guy who was excitedly telling me about tentacle rape hentai, so yeah.. 1st and last meeting for me. ;D

I used to be active in a cosplay guild in our area that's the closest thing I'd say of joining an anime club. Well, I was long into anime and related hobbies prior joining said group and we just recently transferred accommodations so I thought it wouldn't hurt to make some new friends. As a matter of fact I did, but only a few as I later found out that most of the people there were extremely competitive in their cosplays and well debates/discussions on anime and other related series can get pretty out of hand sometimes which really stresses me out and basically defeating the purpose of joining said group in the first place. I don't know it could just be me but it didn't end well and I go to event around once a month with the few friends I've met there.
