I don't go out of my way to tell people I'm weeb, people usually just approach me with otaku related topics of conversation. I guess my appearance gives it away lol

Haha yes very, I don't look like I watch anime or read manga. Only my close friends know i watch it, i don't have a problem with telling people, I just don't go out and tell everyone I watch it nor is it anyone's business.

I dont mind telling anyone either.. infact i try to convert people into otakus which i have pretty much done on whomever i tried, but yeah those are close friends.. i dont advertise myself to be an otaku. Honestly speaking being an otaku or watching anime is not that big of a deal here, its similar to watching serials or movies of a specefic director or marvel series, so closet term isnt very applivable like u dont go out and advertise all the movies you have seen (maybe in a limited way)..

I'm definitely not a weeaboo and i don't believe i'm a "classic" otaku either ^^` I do enjoy anime and manga but I also enjoy all other kinds of Japanese stuff; that being said, if you saw me on the streets you'd never think of me as the sick fuck i actually am xD i look/dress quite normal :D gotta blend in ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just like anime I appreciate the stories that animation can tell I guess you could say that I'm an Otaku but I feel as though that if I went around saying that then people would get the wrong impression of me as a lot of people that are public about liking anime are typically annoying teenage girls that don't shut up about being an otaku and weeb. Why can't people just appreciate it as art instead of screaming about it like an moron which gives people a horrible impression of an anime fan.

I don't tell people, but I don't hide it either. Like if it somehow comes up then I have no problem saying I like it but I don't have any obvious showing that I love it. I'm too cheap to be buying the DVDs and shirts and stuff so most people don't know.
