How often do you masturbate?

How often do you do it? Do you feel it's too often or maybe you wish that you had bigger urges? I have some friends who rarely do it all and others who do it a lot of times each day. How often do you feel it's normal? Some people have said they feel demisexual, others may be very religious; i'm interested in your opinion on this matter and I wonder how connected it would be with ones state of mind, such as depression.

I'd personally prefer to see this in the Serious Talk area. It's a topic worthy of gravitas. As to the original question, I'd hesitate to try and determine what is normal. It's naturally going to vary. There would, of course, be some mathematical average. As for myself, it varies over time. Sometimes once or twice per day all the way down to maybe a couple of times per month. I'm old, so I guess I've run the gamut.
