FAIRY TAIL ans other anime I guess

I have though about this pretty seriously (so my friends can understand)so I will give it a try in three main points. 1. Episode are shorter than most western tv shows and thus are a good watch for those who don't have a lot of time after work. 2. Most anime are made to entertain, and are thus enjoyable. 3. I think anime can touch on themes that aren't present in western tv currently(themes explored by directors like masaaki yuasa and satoshi kon, that require unrealistic scenarios and visuals)
