She asked for it?

Of course that picture wasn't shown, wouldn't want to make her look like she's looking for attention. Debate all you want, but THAT is looking for attention by using sexuality. What does she expect? Wear what you want, but even you know certain kinds of clothing WILL attract certain kinds of attention. Again, more validity to me saying this whole thing is stupid.

I don't disagree with you on that point, women use their bodies knowingly to gain followers, I'm aware of that. I'm arguing over the people who actively harass people for their own enjoyment. Women getting harassed for doing it just happens to be one of the more common issues. And its still not an excuse for them to do said harassment just because she does it. Theres never a justification, even if you don't like it.

Trolls are just scum bags, nothing you do will change unless they get an ass whooping they'll never forget. As long as they hide behind a monitor they'll never change. Worst part is they would never have the balls to say this IRL, and no one will know that part of their past time includes harassing people. Even the whole meme culture has gotten pretty messed up. But that picture....i just don't understand the point to play video games in a bra? Like why? She knows for a fact that this is like a magnet for trolls and she's gonna get a lot of hate. Guys don't face as much criticism in the gaming community because of the population manly being other guys, they don't care to hate (at least most). For example Faze Censor is jacked, wears sleeveless shirts etc. and no one cares. But it depends on the setting. Unfortunately many women do judge men although they might not be as explicit about it, like at the gym might think a guy is a "douche bag, player, jerk, etc." if he is wearing a tank top. Some of the hate some male weight lifting vlogers get is insane, guys accusing them left and right of "steroids" and saying things like "what's your cycle"? Even SSSniperWolf gets an insane amount of hate even though she doesn't even do half of the things some female streamers have done. Like i'm talking Law Suit level/stalker hate. Pretty girl streamer + Video games= trouble People in all walks of life try to bring you down to their level instead of aspiring to improve themselves or admire. Its just easier to blame your problems on someone else. Human beings can be shitty people. Got a nice car? Cool, some asshole might key your doors or some shit. Its the same reason why we can't have nice things. Thats why i think its better to just be low key and modest. There is a place and time for everything. Doesn't mean we have to live our life in fear because of some punks, but to be careful when making a big decision like flashing your body. For example if its for a photoshoot for something i can understand the outfit, but for streaming a video game its not worth the risk. Passing through a sketchy area? Don't wear your expensive clothes or take your nice car out. Shit people are constantly looking for targets, better not to make yourself a target.

Usually, people get that false sense of 'anonymity' due to being behind a computer screen so they say as they wish until they mess with the wrong one. Anyways, some women do dress a bit promiscuous to gain attention. I am sure some (or most) of those girls know what outcome they are going to get but attention and subscribers is what they seek the most.

Ironically, males are actually oppressed. At least in the States due to society and the court system but that's a whole new topic.

MidastheAlchemist Uh no, not at all. Also, I will disagree with you on this one. These kinds of vain behaviors need to end on both sides. When I stream, I try to keep my body covered and clothed. Hell, not even during the hottest times of the year do I forsake a shirt. I may wear a jersey, but that is my limit. Also, you may say "not trying to white knight" but to me that's a lie, since you already know you're pretty much doing so and simply don't care to correct yourself. So in truth, you're a liar. Speaking of which, I'm sick of the victim culture. People judge each others' bodies all the time. It is NATURAL. Men will judge womens' bodies, and the women will do the same. Screw off dude, with your self-righteous, sexist white knight propaganda. Guys like you are a bad representation of men, because you'll pretend to be a morally conscious person, but in the end, it is all peacocking. If things get to the point of legal issues, then by all means, lock the dudes up. They violated the law, they go to jail. However, if there aren't any laws broken, then sit back and STFU. A woman can handle her own danged problems. You don't need to get in a moral tangent about it.

"megitsune megitsune (she/her) about 11 hours ago Nobody asked for it. Being pretty and feminine isn't a crime. Why portray yourself as uglier than you are just because of male oppresion? These girls are fighting for their freedoms. Let's put burkas on them, shall we? You guys are all acting like you're the ones being oppressed sigh. I shouldn't go on the forums and i'll likely not answer to your replies, i just needed to vent this out. Please be a little more moderate in your opinions." Whelp at least you have the courtesy to say "please". Good. People are learning MANNERS. One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. But see, here's the problem. Being feminine and pretty=Male desire and attention. If you overtly show yourself off to people, REGARDLESS OF BIOLOGICAL SEX, you will be judged. There is no female oppression in the modern western world. Women have more positions of power in businesses across the US. Go onto Sargon of Akkad's channel, find the appropriate video where he recites ACTUAL SOURCES that say that more women are in power than ever. This imaginary "female oppression" is a trend that needs to end here. Life is misery, life is oppression. Every suffers, everyone in some way is oppressed. Get over your own delusional ego (You seriously have screwed up when I, of all people, are telling you to get over yourself) get down to doing something and living a productive life, if for no other person's sake other than your own. You're fighting an imaginary war and oppression that doesn't exist. I would judge a man by the same token. If a fatso man were to stream and show his body, the shudders of revulsion and disdain would be considered appropriate and fair by female standards. Yet that's the problem. You don't want fairness and equality, you want dominance and privilege. Before you even try to cite the wage gap, all evidences point to women earning less money due to them working less hours. NOT because they're women directly, but because women have different interests and desires than men. So they'll work less hours, of which are obviously earning less in wages. To give equal money for unequal work is sexist preference. Also, funny you mention Burkhas but then call people islamaphobes when men call you out on your hypocritical nonsense. If you wish to deal with female oppression, go to ACTUAL countries who oppress women, rather than places like America, who simply don't cowtow to demands, rather than do something as inconsequential as b***ing on a random forum that produces no results. Women are equal, until they make themselves unequal. You are both a disgrace to America and Freedom. Yet most importantly, you are a disgrace to women.

There's two sides to it. While 1. I would never harass a woman personally, over her choices of clothing. It is obvious she wears revealing clothing for the sake of attention.(There are actually alot of girls that do this. That it got it's own name at one point.) When you try to get attention in a specific way, You will attract a specific sort of people. That's just what happens. She did stupid crap, that got even stupider people to do even More stupid things. You wear revealing clothes, Odds are, You'll get comments, Some nice, Some not nice, Many Sexual either way. I'm not saying it's right. I'm not Saying it's wrong. I'm saying, It's GOING to happen. You don't go walking out in public in your bra alone, and most men, Don't go out to the supermarket without a shirt. The internet, is where hundreds if not thousands will see you(Depending on popularity, even more than people in public will see you.). We are a sexual species. We judge each other's looks, So when someone put's their body out there. Many people without manners will show themselves. So do I think she should be harass personally? No. Do I feel sorry? Well it's like feeling sorry for the moth flying into the flame. Yeah I do a little bit, But they either too stupid to not know the consequences of such an act, or they don't care. So Not much really. Again, This isn't a talk about what's just Right. It's about the outcome. And anyone with half a mind knows the outcome of a pretty girl getting scantily clad on the internet for views. It just never ends well.
