Slut shaming

@interal, i think these guys trashing on "sluts" *dont* believe in women being pure i think if they had a gf theyd be breathing down her neck for sex and nudes id also bet theyd cheat on their gfs in a second, because they clearly have 0 respect for women

@Lamby - Definitely, people like that are just the most toxic kind and I'm happy the vast majority of women are more than happy to completely ignore and avoid those kinds of people altogether because those fuckers don't deserve a woman in their life for the way they treat someone just for sending nudes. Heck if a girl is posting nudes publicly then I think they'd want praise if anything, it's entirely their decision y'know?

Eh, people can be pretty awful and this is magnified via internet. All we can hope is the girl learns from this and moves on. Many people don't quite grasp the impact their actions or words can have. Combine this with our culture where woman + nudes = whore/slut, you know what to expect.

I think everyone should just stop jugding other people and the way they live their lives. I also find it weird that people who slut shame themselves are obsessed with hyper sexuality though human's are contradictory creatures. Me being the lizard king, all I care about is food & sleep. Also hacking someone's computer for nudes is pretty pathetic.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm an active user of 4chan, and I love some of the communities. I've assisted in stuff like doxxing Ajit Pi and contributed to sending him pizzas. I enjoy poking fun at people. With that said, I also absolutely hate some of the communities. 4chan attracts a lot of awful people that do unspeakable things. There's a lot of shitters here, like those on /pol/. /pol/ is full of transphobic alt-right morons that like to shit on people for a giggle. I don't associate with them. I don't associate with /b/ much either. 4chan ≠ /b/. Don't associate the entire forum with a single board. Each board is more of less a separate community, and though raids/crossovers happen, it rarely changes the board's original userbase and it's main intentions. /b/ is in a special place - it's more or less the 'homepage' of 4chan, and it gets the most traffic. It's used by people all over the world, from London to the bay. Discussion is raw and unfiltered. People don't think before they talk, and they don't have to adhere to any laws or legislation that would prevent them from doing so. Because of the nature of 4chan, things are often blown way out of proportion, and people tend to jump to extremes. If you give them an inch, they will take a mile. People have and will take any opportunity to shit on others. All they're trying to do is elicit a response from the target, and get validation. At the end of the day, it's pity trolling - just blown up to a size where it hinges on exasperation and turns to harassment. That's not to say this kind of stuff is okay - it's not okay whatsoever - but it is something that has happened due to how anonymity works. I wouldn't call it a 'necessary evil' or anything like that, more so an 'accidental evil'. Freedom brings less security, and you end up with situations like this. Stay off the orange boards if you're new or don't want to see NSFW stuff. Keep to blue boards with better communities like /vg/. There are good people on 4chan, and there are shitters too. Don't believe me? Let me let you in on some good that has come out of 4chan. As a quick example, let me share the story of Dusty: Dusty is a name 4chan gave to a cat after a young man posted a video of himself abusing a cat on YouTube. After an initial thread showing the video, there was an outpouring of support that brought in people that ended up saving the cat's life. 4chan's users were able to use methods such as reverse image searching and metadata mining to find the cat's owner's myspace account and his full legal name and address. Within 48 hours of the video being posted to the fourm, the man abusing his cat was arrested by the Comanche County Police.

As an anecdote, let me remind everyone who read my above post that I am not defending /b/ or those that slut-shame, nor do I defend those that blow things out of proportion and use their will to pin labels on others. All I'm here to do is try to explain the messy-nature of the forum and show that a lot of this behavior is a result of anonymity that relies on the honor principle. People break that due to the lawless nature of anonymity, and that can't regularly be controlled. The best thing I can suggest is remember to keep your private stuff private and be careful with sensitive information. In today's day and age it's incredibly easy to find people's information and paint a new picture of them for others. Don't give people an inch. They will take a mile.

Hmm. The issue for me here is less of calling someone a slut for releasing nudes (I mean, that shit is on the internet, WTF do you expect?!) and more of just the egregious lack of human decency and basic rights. You have a right to privacy and a right to be free from doxxing. So I'm a little torn here. A)The lady shouldn't release nudes where the internet can get a hold of it B) But she also has the right to privacy. Hence why I'm conflicted. The first issue being my value of prudency and modesty, which I find to be an attractive trait. The second is my own conscientiousness decrying these horrid acts.

You're going to 4chan, and coming back wondering how you saw something that was wrong? It's like going to Saudi Arabia with as a member of the LGBT, and expecting a welcoming party. Seriously though, 4chan is the cesspool of the internet in many ways. While personally I'm not a fan of the slut life style.(Just my personal tastes, you do you.) It's obviously wrong. Only Criminals deserve to be doxxed. Bullies will bully. it's like asking why are you beating up on short nicky? Because they're a bully. That's that. They are feeling self righteous and have a lot of internal anger, that when they see an opportunity to take it out on someone, Instead of channeling it the right way like through exercise, They decide it's better to go put someone else down. There's alot worse things in the world than being doxxed for nudes. Let's start at the top before working our down to the asshole status alone. People murder people. If that doesn't show you that there are a lot of screwed up people I don't know what will. And unfortunately, Most people are somewhere near the middle, rather than either wholly good or bad. Meaning a good size of the pop are just jackasses.
