cancel culture is so stupid calling out people for being bad people, spreading awareness of their misconduct to the authorities or just giving their victims a platform? all good things in theory, as a collective we can bring to light the problems some try and hide and show that this is unacceptable, like the metoo movement "canceling" a dead author who mos already knew was a bigot? a complete circle jerk. the intentions are good, probz started by some zoomers who didnt know he was racist and were shocked, but come on. hes dead. the word 'cancel' just had no meaning anymore. spread that the man was a bigot (he cheated on his wife while she was dying of cancer too i believe) but there is such a thing as separating the art from the artist as far as i know there is 0 racist dog whistles in his books, so just enjoy them. if you don't wanna buy them and support his estate then you can look for them in second hand shops. ye, its just really dumb and it makes real movements look bad by proxy, bbuuutttt just as its a circle jerk to try and cancel someone like this, its also a circle jerk to cry about how bad cancel culture is. both are meaningless activities that just give the people participating a way to fill in free time. super unimportant but feels good to rant about dumb mental masturbations like this, but i suppose thats what ranting is aswell?

i use to respect murata purely because hes such an artistic legend, but (acknowledging i don't actually know whats going on inside his business affairs) it feels like hes skating on his talent and the weight of his name i don't know how he can go so long without publishing anything. the MA arch has been a fucking year, and the invading of the MA has been almost half a year now?! maybe more?! how does his editor let him take these long breaks? he can work fast, we saw that with the original phenoix man redraws, so whats the issue? not to mention hes surrounded by the best assistance that are the real ones hammering out these gorgeous effects i think he just knows he isn't going to be fire because one punch man is too big and his name and talent carries too much weight, so hes just not doing his job i hope I'm wrong, i probably am, but this is getting ridiculous. this isn't content fatigue like with berserk manga, murata is purely an artist, so whats the hold up? there are long gaps between redraws, and also STOP REDRAWING! How garbage does a game have to be for you to literally have 2 trophies away from a platinum and you just uninstall it because you rather not force yourself to play it....this is the literal worst game i have ever played. The enemies one shot you at almost every point of the game. You cannot heal unless you kill an enemy and collect health which you directly have to walk past while in a swarm of aimbot enemies. Bosses one shot, telekinesis barely works because you try to pick up an item and its hit or miss if the item will getstuck mid air and not shoot at the enemy like you want. The gun choices are basically 2 out of the 5 guns are viable everything else is useless garbage. You can only upgrade by beating missions, the map is basically just a 2D jpeg of a multi story area meaning if you go down or up a floor you have no idea where you are actually standing. Enemies spawn behind you sometimes and obliterate you in a single second. Truly trash the story makes no sense even without me skipping cutscenes. Enemies will dodge every attack you send at them so you basically gotta get RNG on wether it will hit them its awful. My ps4 screams for help everytime i pause the game and unpause cuz there is like a literal 2 seconds of the game being frozen.
