When people leave trash around. Esp when a garbage can is close by

Not sure if I've said this one but when you're angry at someone in an argument and you flub a word or accidentally misstate how you're saying something and even though the other person clearly gets what you're actually trying to say they suddenly become a grammar nazi or try to insult you/make ya feel stupid for it. It's why I find arguments so irritating. Because people aren't usually listening but hearing. They seek to be understood but do not try to understand and are instead content to wait "their turn" to tell you why they're wrong and you're right(If they give you that much). Much do I prefer a discussion with someone that when we disagree we can both say "I understand that___ is why you're upset" and just kind of let that breath. Not try to 1-up someone, or try to make them feel bad, respond sarcastically, or put up a strawman. Simply try to understand from their perspective, acknowledge it, and let it be important. THEN calmly state your disagreement. Because being the kind of person who is content to have their point stated even if the day ends with the person they are speaking too feeling insulted or misunderstood would result in a lot of burnt bridges. You get to keep your pride but nothing has been resolved.

^ Omg yes. Same way here with mustard. I do not like it. And when someone says "just scrape it off" all I can think is: "If someone took a shit on your burger right now but scraped it off, would ya still eat it?"
