I don't? It's not really something I feel like I need to talk about. What I do is what I do. Plus I don't think I'm an "otaku" I'm just a guy who likes anime, among other things.

I've never heard any parent tell their kids don't watch anime my parents never gave two fucks one way or the other in fact my dad watches anime and I even let him use my streaming account. :)
