I'll be traveling to South Carolina in 6 days to see the eclipse pass over me. I've never seen a solar eclipse before and I'm rather excited

I swear eclipses never happen where I live - heck we were lucky we got to see the blood moon a while back and even then it was nowhere near as spectacular as it was in other parts of the world :/

I'm waiting for 2024 lol. But I did go see the partial with my 2 year old nephew who insisted on calling it a "moon cookie"

My phone took a reflected picture where you can see the eclipse and the blinding sunlight still shining thru.
