Bumping because it seems they didnt read/bother to fix that, I just joined 1-2 days ago and all my matches are from 1year to 8years without log in lmao

I agree I don't think they've fixed it either I've seen a lot of dead accounts in my matches. Also I wish my matches weren't half way across the US from me. Half my matches are in California and I live in Florida... sooooo yea.

Agreed. I gave up on the matches link cuz it is useless due to that problem. Now i try to see who is active on the forums to consider potential matches if not friends.

Yeah it's well known to be pretty busted and extremely limited. It seems to only work on three criteria. Location, anime seen, and conventions. The anime side of things doesn't work when almost everyone here watches a very small amount of the same anime as everyone else. I don't see how or why conventions factor into it as it tells you absolutely nothing about a person if they've been to con-xyz or not. And god forbid you're someone who doesn't like cons. I can kinda understand the location thing, but it doesn't do much for you if you don't like your location or the people in it. The age thing meanwhile seems to be all over the place, so I'm not even sure if it works. tenno_kuroneko, they've been ""updating"" this site for nearly a decade.
