They do not. It's more like we are best friends. Just weirder. Feels a bit forced.

Ya. She made me lose 1,000 bucks because she changed her mind about buying something I want and wanted the money back and it got lost somehow. It was my money. She has to hold on to my money and do what she wants with it.

Nope. However, I get treated as if I'm stupid just because I'm younger than them despite I've been teaching them shit literally since middle school. They wouldn't know much if I wasn't there. Since they lack the competence to teach themselves, I have to teach them most of the time while teaching myself too. They're honestly terrible at parenting but I guess my mom did taught me a few good things.

Not so much with my dad but it does happen rarely but with my mom... Jeez, all the damn time with her - like yeah I'm her kid and all that but I'm 22 ffs y'know? If I wanted advice and a helping hand then I'd ask for it, I don't need her constantly baby-ing me through absolutely everything I do since I'm more than capable of handling myself in everything I do. I swear I'm developing some kind of complex the more she keeps believes I'm a six year old.

I think they've learned not to. When I was really young... 3 or 4... I got a gift that I felt like belittled my intelligence. Being so young maybe I shouldn't have felt so high and mighty, but I was pissed off so I just threw it away. Their intentions were pure, but it didn't change how I felt. I regretted throwing away someones gift with good intentions later that day, but the deed was done. I think ever since then they were more careful at considering what I felt about things, rather than what I should feel about them as a child.
Though, later in life it they've tried every now and then, but my shit personality doesn't work with their attempts. If they try to tease me I literally ignore them and give them the cold shoulder. It might be harsh to not respond to your own parents talking to you, but they don't tease me anymore and now we mostly only have meaningful conversations, which I much prefer.

Yes, they do. They always regard me to be a vulnerable, naive, rebellious kid who will fail in everything←_← and always tell me how mature and virtuous their friends' daughters are. In their opinion, I will never truly grow up until I fulfill a certain "duty". Hmm, I will never grow up then, cos I ignore that "duty" on purpose. I haven't had meaningful conversations with them for years, they have no idea what kind person I'm like now~
