Don't just blow it off out of some sort of apprehension. There is nothing, ABSOLUTELY nothing professional about what he did. What he did is guaranteed to get him fired (Unless he's the owner, and then it's still tantamount to stalking.) if it's reported to his higher ups. That's very unethical, not at all professional and very creepy. Not sure about the legalities, but if it really bothers you, contact the company and tell them. Fear retaliation? Get a restraining order.

Really? Let me simplify it then... Contact the company, tell them about thier creepy little employee and if you fear retaliation by said creeper, get a restraining order. Simplified?

I agree. Thats very unprofessional. Its one thing if ya connected in some way, in a friendly manner i mean. But thats a bit much. Like on this site for instance, i had a friend on here and she left pretty quick because someone managed to find her facebook and it freaked her out...

I got another operator who didn't know if it was legal as well, but will contact his boss and ask and see what happens. I asked not to have me mentioned if this was unacceptable cuz he knows where I live. The first couldn't get me through so I had to call again. It isn't certain if it is legal or not to do this. I should look up this law.

I can't find any laws about it. If you tell him to stop contacting you and he does anything more, then he would definitely fall under harassment or stalking.
