Females: Cure to Work Productiveness?

This doesn't seem a serious talk topic here, but it's a whatever. It seems these dudes here are very thirsty and desperate right there.

So long as the work keeps chugging. No complaints. Though the eventual line of failed pick ups and distraught lonely drinking is inevitable. Or MaiOtaku girl's every wish. The joining of the dark side (I swear it's their master plan)

honestly not really sure about that but where i work at most upper management is run by females and frankly the place is more relax and better then before if you do your work most of the time they don't care what you do.. the last people who run things were very restrict and you had to tell them what u were doing and where. it was a hard work environment. so if run by females maybe but of course there other new challenges go with that

ceresbane, I'm really trying to figure out your point. Aside from the very obvious one, where this somehow links to feminism and that it's our (women's) fault for not letting men smash. But that's your point in ever discussion when gender is ANYHOW involved so...

It neither helps nor hinders work progress and morale. What you saw was called "competition". A bunch of guys who normally only work with guys, then see a woman and work harder to prove they can, with the hope of somehow "impressing". Men and women compete ALL the time, however. What should be had is consistent work ethics, regardless of the opposite sex being there. Maybe a group meeting is in call, instead of a discussion on an internet forum. If your job is manual labor, I do expect more men by default, but don't get your penis in a twist just because a woman is nearby. Work is work. After Work? That's up to you.

Yep. REgarding incidents like this, i now see it as guys flexing and "showing off." Luckily I brown-nose the boss already so i'm always 110% lul

These are your typical "nice guys" The fact that their productivity and enthusiasm increases around an attractive female proves that their niceness or recent enthusiasm is part of a facade. Similar to the teachers pet, they carry out their actions in hopes of a reward, in this case gaining attention from the opposite gender. Now in terms of productivity, i don't care whatever gets them working i guess but these are the same people that give genuinely nice people in general a bad rep. These kind of people feel entitled to a reward for their actions, the minute you start neglecting their need for gratification you see their true colors. Like others have said, these are just some sad desperados.
