I noticed there is a split when it comes to feminists and anime, some appreciate the art form and cultural context of it, others claim the female characters are too oversexualized for the sake of appeasing the male gaze, and therefore are objectification which is why some of the Japanese companies no longer want to bring games like Dead or Alive to the US. But I noticed some of these weeabs ARE SJWs who bitch about "cultural appropriation" when White people try to learn a language spoken mostly by non-Whites, dress up in costumes that resemble the clothing of other cultures when many of these asshats then unironically try to learn Japanese and dress up as anime characters who usually don't dress in western garb. I also found it amusing these POSs moaned insufferably about Scarlett Johansson playing Motoko Kusanagi simply because her melanin didn't match, even though nobody in Japan gave a shit and even reacted positively. Why do they attack the things other people enjoy? Because theyre ideological purists in every sense, just like every other authoritarian movement.
