Even thought personality is very important , looks also matter.
I wouldnt see myself with a guy whose personality i hate , as much as i wouldnt like to be with a guy that would attract me.
No need to look for a prince charming or something but there needs to be some kind of physical attraction.
In my case, dating someone whose values you dont respect, thats the only thing that its not worth it.
Now if the guy is black, white, christian or whatever , i dont care.

I admit looks will always be first to capture my attention but that doesn't mean it's going to keep me interested. I'm a personality over looks person.
I've had crushes, based off of looks, who opened their mouth causing me to hate them and find them completely unappealing inside and out.
I've also had crushes who were considered below average or flat out ugly but had amazing personalities and made them hot in my eyes.
I like to think of looks as just a bonus package really. If it's not there whatever, their personality is going to make them physically attractive to ME any ways. If it is there awesome, I get to hear from everyone else how attractive they are and struggle even more with interactions with them.

Me, well I try not to worry about looks and the views of people. Who cares As long as they don't force it on you or others aggressively or at all it should be fine just choose some one who's kind deep down. And takes care of them selfs

Heh, looks? I've dated a skinny twig and chubby guy before. Their looks isn't what captured my heart. It was their kindness, dedication towards me, their passion of beliefs and not being just a total dick. They listened, understood and tried their best to impress me. A few of them did drugs even.
I have a line of no lying, HAIL SATAN kind of person, anti-Christ, a person who does not like gaming nor anime (sorry we won't get along much). Must be willing to take adventures with me and be somewhat on the same page as me. I don't mind the challenges and I like learning about new cultures, new food, new language, etc.
I'm not very picky. But there must be a spark between us. I can usually feel a spark almost immediately after the first impression. I'm good at reading people, always have been. I know what to look for in their personality.
Probably tells a lot about me, but eh. ~

Looks are nothing. I've dated a skeleton and fat emo girl who kept cutting herself for me. On the outside it doesnt matter because i have learned the loneliness of how being alone and no one to love. What makes a relationship is kindness, will power. That special one for me as to be willing to watch anime and Netflix with me and be able to hold a conversation.I only get along with people who like anime so if you dont like anime then we wont have a good relationship as anime is my passion.

People shouldn't look for mirrors, being with a person is specifically so that you can be with someone else. Things like beliefs, opinions, and religion are both malleable and conditional, so with a few exceptions I'd probably not try to judge a moderately attractive person by them. If I felt comfortable enough in the relationship I might even try to engage them and try to explain my point of view or why I think they are wrong every once in a while, hearing them out too of course. But the important thing starting off is compatibility, and beyond that trust and a shared bond, so I don't think I'd ever come to resent a woman just because she was a feminist or sjw or whatever. Humans don't have value, they are all the same, and love isn't something earned through beliefs or looks or virtue.
I'd just want to be with someone because I want to be with them, even if they were stupid or ugly or maybe even have a bad personality and character flaws. Granted I can't really say that I'd stay with a person who I didn't find pleasant to be with, chemistry is important after all, but I'm not suddenly going to start screening people's voting records to see if our political beliefs match up. Also very hot, the hotter they are the better.

I just got out of a relationship with a Christian, who was so cute that I didn't care. It was mutually like that about my beliefs for him.
It's specifically cuteness that does it for me. But, he turned out to be quite hot after I got comfortable enough around him to check him out.
Now... I don't mind if a guy's Christian, as long as he doesn't mind my beliefs in turn.
