Why Did You Join MaiOtaku?

I was so sick of my bad luck with girls I fell in love with. Some were homosexual, some dropped me off if I am not any more needed(as friend or lover), and some just forget that I am still there. Those were all girls without any or mayby with a bit of a liking to otaku culture. I do not have any friends sharing this hobby. In that point one could say I am lonely, and that is what I am, a lone soul wlking his path of life. Anyways I hope for some friends and good conversations about anime, manga, games, physical thought experiments, if Siracha or Tabasco is better, and on and on. Also maybe for a partner to share my hobbies with and make her happy, while she makes me happy.

To search for a girlfriend. But Ive been here 5 years and nothing. I dont know anymore. Im just way less active now.

at first i was like oh cool lets look for a girlfriend 2 days in i changed my mind im just here to annoy people and have people hate me now.

Most of my friends that do like anime aren't as all in like me. Most just watched an anime once, liked it but didn't get into the culture. Then there's the ones that just like hentai... Just searching for otaku friends, maybe a relationship. no one wants to talk to me though ;-;

I joined because literally none of my friends watch anime just hoping to find some like-minded people and hopefully some good friends:)

I...mostly joined on a whim to be perfectly honest, I'm not really desperate for friends to talk about anime with or a significant other. Though I won't lie, what caused me to stick around in the first place and not abandon this account moments after I registered was a certain someone who ended up catching my eye that I ended up ultimately becoming fairly close with, which in hindsight was probably the best thing that has happened to me recently. I guess I'm just here to lurk and comment on topics and stuff when I feel like it. :v
