Are People Really Born Straight or Gay?

Ever heard you're baby is a psychopath? No? Well, that's not how it works... Choice.... Ya know, if that were true, then EVERYONE would struggle with attraction. I mean, I know I didn't choose to be straight, I just know I'm sexually attracted to women (I can find beauty in both sexes, but that's a different topic.). If it was a choice, I wouldn't have desires or urges, I would simply just choose depending on how I "feel" or EVERYONE would be bisexual by default. As for being born gay? I mean, children aren't really "sexual", but I believe the "wiring" so to speak, is already set up from birth and just needs puberty as the catalyst. Apples and oranges here, but I was predisposed to clinical depression(Crazy family...meh.), however I wasn't born depressed. But, I'm sure it's all more complicated than that.

Reactionary, I'm just trying to understand what you mean. Care to clarify? It's almost like some here have never talked to a gay person. I can assure you, at least the one's I've talked to, they by no means are attracted to the opposite sex and it's not like they just woke up one day and said "I want to make an already complicated life that much more difficult.". To me, those who claim it to be a choice are saying they had to choose to want the opposite sex rather than just have a natural innate desire.

I wouldn't say it was necessarily a choice as in you decided randomly one day you are gay or Bi. It's just a natural feeling of attraction you have, the same as anyone else except it's with the same sex. Well that is how it is for me anyway.

I have found both men and women attractive in my life, I couldn't imagine it being anything other then how you feel towards the person and not specific to what the person is.
