I re-downloaded steam, but I only play two games on their(team fortess two and Garys mod) can anyone recommend a game that is free and fun.

I highly recommend Warframe - probably the best example of how to do a free-to-play game and the huge focus on coop and how the different frames synergise together is a real breath of fresh air from your usual free-to-play game.
