Time zones

How do you guys deal with timezone differences? Is it a deal breaker for you or something you'd be willing to endure if you had to? For example I've been talking to someone recently who's not online till it's around 2am here (5pm there). As such I've been staying up till around 4am on average lately. I don't really mind, but I imagine most people might find this to be more trouble than it's worth.

Just wait for them to respond. Give it time and stop being inpatient. I personally wouldn't stay up late just to talk with friends and there exists the possibility, with all this technology and before with the usage of physical letters, that they can message you whenever they can too. I only stay awake when I'm discussing something interesting or when I'm talking to someone really important to me.

I'm in the UK and the majority of people on this site seem to be from America. I've spent many nights up until ridiculous hours in the morning to talk to people. I don't find it a problem as I genuinely enjoy speaking to them. If I didn't I would simply sleep and send them messages when it suits me.

Depends sometimes ill stay up for my friends in the EU I know people from all over the world so I don't really have a normal sleep pattern just all depends on what im doing and its not really much trouble for me losing sleep is not really that big a deal for me.

A lot of the time the only option is when you're off of school or work, and you just stay up late for them. Or vice versa.

the freaks come out at night :D but seriously some of the people i talk to, usually i wont catch them in time, i go to bed way too early and wake up a little too late and end up missing them. but its not really a deal breaker for me. i can wait for a reply (though it would be nice to have a live conversation)
