Besides, I've seen that Minneapolis is dismantling the Police Department in order to "redo" it. There are also people within the BLM that ask to defund the Police and work in social programs, if that is the correct term. I will only enter in the point of the dismantling of the MPD, not the defunding, as I would have to write two fucking essays. This can end catastrophic. I can take an example from the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo (and I guess other States, like Ceará, too) whose Military Police (yes, our police is militarized) have started an illegal strike, demanding better wages. This happened around one year ago, I guess? End result? Crime skyrocketed in those States, and the National Guard needed to be called to not only to quell banditry, but also the mutinneer cops. I think the same shall happen in Minneapolis while the Police Department is being "redone". But that's just my wild guess. Don't take my word for it.
