The best way to get over an ex is not to get into a rebound relationship. You need time to process your emotions and be fair to the other girl. You need to be direct and let her know that now might not be the best time. But, it seems you've made up your mind, you're young and you'll learn. It's not like any relationship you have at your age is going to last anyways.

I cried myself to sleep for nearly 6mo after my 1st serious breakup. I wish I had someone I had feelings for to be with sooner. I had sex with a couple girls not long after but didn't have feelings for them so it didn't help.

Loli, It's just my opinion that it's not fair to the other person if you're not over your past relationship. Getting into a new relationship is not all about nor does it only just effect you.
