If you could shape the world

If you could shape the World... What would you make it into ? Be as detailed as possible. =Try answer some of these questions.= -How would you acquire goods? -How would you have interpersonal interactions. -How much if any information would one person share with another person? -What would you do for entertainment ? -Finally,why would you want to shape the world this way? Also feel free to think outside of just this planet I only use the world as a stepping stone and interesting catch to get the attention of other people but this could be as big or small as you want it to be. I'll share and answer my own questions to get things started. My society would be based on the idea that most of the base labor jobs which are jobs that require repetition or just basic motor functions as already being done automatically only jobs still done by man or those that require creativity complex thought or driven by a unique prospective on things. This would would be split among a few basic fields. The first is the exploration and diplomacy field, these are the people go out and explore the unknown and once they find something out there that has not before been found they ether report back on their findings or make first contact for the race as whole. These individuals would work as the face of the race that looks out at everything else instead of looking into itself. The second field is the inventive field these are those who take what is already known and attempt to use it to the best extent. People like inventors and just post scientific fields are included in this group and there goal is to use their own prospective on things to come up with inventive no solutions to problems or a new way of using something that is currently being manufactured. Like with most groups these individuals can ether work in a group or alone and are supplied with what they need based on availability so i imagine they would move around to more productive parts of this little empire as supplies grow or diminish.The third Field would be the production field they produce custom works and this would be the class of people who would otherwise be left without any way to use their skill in this society to give example jobs like being a chief and the creation of custom parts or furniture would fit in this field they are those who take what the empire has and would use those resources to create something using the knowledge already collected. The final field would be the wanderers their part is to collect information from each colony they visit and spread the information to the rest. Unlike every other job this one type of job would require a life time commitment and those who choose this job would be required to keep moving and traveling for the whole of their lives which would hinder the creation of a family requiring full devotion to the job but as a upside they would be given everything they need without the requirement to produce anything as the travel their job is to make sure the empire is up to date on everything their citizens discover so each and every one of them can take advantage of that knowledge. Now I'll directly answer some of my questions. -They acquire goods as needed and produce goods as their way of contributing. As i see it for this type of society to survive the automation that they use must produce more then it consumes making it self sufficient only require someone to maintain it. Everything a human needs to survive in the basic terms is provided by default and all humans do at this point is find where their talents lay and use those talent to better the human race as whole (very idealistic way of viewing a possible world I know but that is why this is a fantasy and not reality ) -Interpersonal communication is done via a mind linking type of technology. The basic idea is that you share how you feel with the person you are talking while you are talking to them and then when they start to talk back they share how they are feeling to you. I feel being able to feel the attention of the person you are communicating with might help solve many misunderstandings I know even such a system is not without its flaws but its the best solution to correcting the very human issue of not being able to relate to the person you are talking to. -Now this is where communication comes into my ideal universe. Knowledge of ones craft is shared freely via an interconnected link in each settlement. The person though is separate from the web. So you are still yourself but what you know about the world is shared to everyone you know and once a wanderer appears he or she collects what your colony knows and in a way is used as a portable hard drive gathering that information and delivery it to the next colony which that information is not available its much like the internet of ideas you think about something and the and everything related to it appear before you constantly being updated. -Entertainment would be mostly the same as it is. how humans entertain themselves already seems very inclusive and diverse enough that I dont really see much need to change it just open up the ability for more innovation in the arts. -As i see things how i can only imagine the human race going two ways . Ether i see use evolving into an ant like hierarchy where the most powerful live not only better lives but longer lives almost unending lives while the super poor live each shorter lives then they do now. I see the gap growing where everything is hoarded at the top .. the supplies and tech. I also see the possibility of the world evolving in a way to not really spread the wealth but to a point where there is no point in hoarding ... where life is long enough to do what you want with it ... where supplies are abundant enough where no one goes needy ... a world where the very idea of when you die is no longer chosen for you by your age or wealth (though no one can stop poor luck ) but when you die is a choice you make once you have experienced everything you wanted out of life . I hope i did a decent job of explaining and expressing myself here. I am much better at expressing myself in person then via words . I would make one require of anyone who gets this far (that is after i thank you for taking the time to read all this jibber jabber lol) please keep the real world or politics out of this ... try to think past what is happening and into a future you want in the long run.
