Your thoughts about trump winning the presidency

verucassault
Hey Napalm just so you know I'm not reading your shit. I'm just sharing why I think it needs to be abolished. I don't need a civics lesson as stated earlier, k? Thanks.

Note I havent fact checked this but it illustrates my point well and its no secret theres very population dense. With the EC you better win more than the cities... for example my home state of PA the Democrat strategy is to win Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and call it a day not worrying about the rest of PA http://a.nime.me/0081/2361/img_20161111_193224.jpg

Oh and just so you know it's nothing personal. I'm just sick of debating and arguing this week. I'm really on the "here's what I think" plane of existence. No volley back and forth.

Veruca youre welcome to share your opinion but if youre going to do so in the manner you did expect some discourse. It appears that you could use one too actually. So boo fucking hoo :) If you dont want any retorts hold your tongue (or fingers) until you are ready for such or at least dont prattle on how you cant be bothered to read a retort on an opinion. If you arent up for the heat stay outta the kitchen.

@verucassault Wow. So you want to uproot our ENTIRE election system because you lost? No. The Electoral College stays, and know why? Because Metropolitan America isn't superior to Rural America. Such small areas of the country can not and will not decide everything for the rest of the country. Get over yourself. You lost.

+1 on why the EC stays although that last bit was a touch unnecessary as whoever she voted/supported is a separate issue even. I could elaborate more but for the sake of good taste I wont.

@Napalm: Well from their attitude, I've begun to assume that Trump winning just directly translates into their loss. At least to them, a lot of them simply just didn't want Trump to win. That being their only goal... I guess it does count as a loss. But you're right. May have been a little much.

Yeah Gudmoore, that last part was over the top. If your team wins, it's never acceptable to gloat over it. People should be allowed to feel bad that their candidate lost. I just realize more people would realize that an intensely divided nation is not a successful nation. We constantly go back and fourth on bills and policies and end up never getting anything done. Remember the time the U.S. was intensely divided, yet the U.S. was very successful? Trick question, it never happened. I hope that Trump finds some way to bridge the political divide we have, because it's getting worse.

Its not even that - soon as I saw how she was going on I did figure that she voted Clinton as well a and was being a sore loser. While it was a bit much it wasn't anything obnoxious either but since you seem to see that it makes it a bit better too.

Arc I agree with you but as long as the radical left are catered to by the rest of the left or not distanced and the right only laments them and holds onto some legit outdated views. We would have to in mass vote a candidate who refuses to smear in order to change that. Theres too much "Im right youre wrong PERIOD" going on. If the so called progressives want to actually progress they must actually listen and think and not shun discussion for safe zones.
