Gamers have fewer nightmares or rather they don't consider them that scary to be nightmares even though they should be.

Hmm this seems very interesting :D butfor me it's mostly nightmares that reoccur D: -In some I find myself being chased by something through the night through my neighborhood and knocking on doors only to realize there are no doors at any of the houses and have to hide behind things and wake up when I am caught... mostly I guess resulting in my death TwT -Others where I find myself drowning, like I'm underwater, but to everyone it's just normal and there's no water but I'm still drowning and once again waking up at my demise -and then there are the Killer Clown nightmares... nuff said these are the ones that mostly occur for me I do have one sweet dream (though bitter sweet) that happens rarely -In it I am with my great aunt (who passed away to cancer in 2008, and also was more of a mother than my own at the time) where I am with her in a room talking to her about how my life is and how my family is doing. And it always ends with me leaving the room (point of waking up), but she can't come with me through the door, so I hug her and say "Thank you Auntie and I'll talk to you soon" *in Spanish*. After that I wake up and tears start rolling for me. It's a sweet and sad dream for me

I used to have this nightmare of some creature. It had a shape of a human, all black and covered with eyes everywhere on it's body. It always chased me and yells/screams at me when it conrners me. There's times where I'll dream of it but it's just sitting there looking at me. One time in the dream, I angered it and it was mauling the hell out of me. Felt like I was in a whole new place with that dream. I was so scared to even sleep which made me a bit of an insomniacs as an outcome. The last dream I had of it was just sitting there on the ground. The environment was some forrest(?) and a huge house that has bodies in one room.

I've had only one dream I've dreamt twice unless you consider reoccurring themes that are not exactly the same dream to be a reoccurring dream. The one I had that was the same was waking up in my grandmother's home around the age of 5-6 in the dream. I felt overwhelming dread and ran through the house, checking the rooms...I couldn't find anyone so I started calling out. I finally opened the door to the backyard porch and I saw my grandmother facing away from me. The sky was gloomy, almost stormy but also just abnormally dark. I called for her, "Granny! Granny!" But she didn't respond. I walked up behind her and she turned them but I couldn't see her face until she leaned down and she was mumbling sounds. She was touching her face but when she came into vision I saw her lips were sewn together. So yeah I was that age when I first had that dream 5-6.. it scared the shit out of me. Then I had it again when I was like 13-14. The reoccurring theme was Nightmare on Elm Street. I had a lot of dreams where Freddie was after me. Panic dreams where I would shoot out of bed as soon as he grabbed me. They weren't the same, always had different environments.. which is even more scary if you've watched the movies lol. Pulling Freddie into your personal dreamscapes make it seem almost real and not a work of fiction. As a kid he did terrify me but when I started loving horror movies he became one of my favorite villains. Still yet the bastard comes after me ever so often.

I don't recall having a dream in the past year, but every so often, maybe twice a year some years not at all, I had this one nightmare where Devil Jin from Tekken is jumping over holes in the ground. The only way I can tell they are holes is because there are walls, and they're the same material/colour as the ground. The holes have neon light showing through them. He jumps over a green one, then a blue, then a pink, then he falls into a yellow one while the laugh he has in the game plays and then I wake up.
