Anyone have success with this site??

Well, there are a few couples here who have already met in person and even live together. Just don't expect too much and don't rush. :) I'm currently in a LDR and it's going fine. Definitely a lot of patience but still happy. Already had a few talk about meeting in person a few times and I'm sure we both aren't exactly ready yet because of our personal reasons at home but if all good in both of our ends, it may happen. :) I've made a few good friends here awhile back but things happened so the friendship is not really the same anymore. :/

Advice, Better to keep your expectations open and widen your interest. You never know who you might find that connects with you. Trying to make a long list of what they need to be and expectations makes the dating game feel so robotic after all. It does somewhat interfere with interest as well as the times. Also join other dating sites if you really prefer online dating. There are others even some catering to our niche specifically. Don't tie yourself down to just one it can help increase chances of finding a person you like.

No one knows about this site unless you here about it on a forum or something. It's best to go to a few forums like this

I'm retarded if you type on anime in google this site comes up. I've made a friend here but she hasn't been here for a month. She has depression, hope she's ok. Someone said she might be with her family or something. It's funny she lives 15 min away from a girl I'm friends with in tbe Midwest that I talk to a bunch

The problem is that most people live far away and moving to be with them is a big investment. I have no problem moving but I need to know there is a good chance of it working and most girls seem to lose interest in me pretty quick because even though I'm social, I'm not the most charismatic person. Nor do I act like I'm in love with someone after talking to them for a week.

Yeah. The problem for me is usually : -They're taken -They Just got over a relationship -They only want friends. -They are trolling No. Seriously. I don't mind it every now and then, but when you're in my position, people seem to forget the practical purpose of this site. No. Really. We could argue here all day and the intent of this website is still the same. Have any of you guys experienced any of these scenarios? -You find someone who seems interesting to you. You're about to add them when you realize they are taken. -You find someone interesting, and then realize their preference is "females". -You find someone interesting and then realize youre going to be in the friendzone. (Yeah, if they have lots of friends, or seem to be talking to some other guys on here in some way, you might as well drop your hopes.) Okay. I know one of you will say "Oh. But Mr.Brandon sir! Not every girl wants a relationship!" Yeah? As I mentioned above, the practical purpose of this site is dating. Go ahead. Try me. "Oh, but Mr.Brandon dude. Relationships start with friendship." Yes. Yes, I know. That's something I believe too. But, there's a hefty amount of friendships going on around here. Tell me, how is anyone going to have any luck if these problems continue? Listen. I'm not saying nobody should be friends or anything like that. But the problems reside in what I mentioned above. And people just keep allowing that problem to continue. Yes, believe me. There are actually profiles that are looking for only friends and nothing else. No, really. Why are you even on this site? No, seriously. Why? You might as well go to MyAnimeList or Reddit. We might as well take off that heart next to the site logo. Okay, we might as well change all of the site information and promotional descriptions. For God's sake, the tab on a web browser literally says "Anime Dating". Why? Why even be here if you don't want any of that to begin with? That logic is beyond even me. And I know those specific people will get salty as hell if they see this. But fuck it, SOMEONE had to say something. And nobody has, so I'll be that someone. I'm ranting on here. But the point is, this is exactly why many of us, like me, are failing. Loli_Vampire made a good point. Sometimes we cant find anyone nearby. Now, combine this with the problems I already stated. Worse? I thought so. I don't expect many people to agree with me here, but this is just what I've noticed in the 2-3 years I've been on this site.
