Favorite Pokémon generation

Mine is without doubt generation two. Really like the pokemons from that generation (Meganium, Quagsire, Octillery, Mantine, Girafarig) and I enjoyed the story as well. Now I must admit I have NOT played all of the generations (6 or 7) but from 1-5, gen 2 will always be my favorite

Generation 1 or 3 in terms of Pokémon In terms of game play generation 2 for having both regions and as mentioned a nice story with a interesting end game challenger.

I want to say gen 1 but honestly....I think it may be gen 2. (I've played each gen but I never finished pearl or soul silver).

Generation 4. Sinnoh had the best line up of legendary Pokemon and Platinum was one of the best games in the entire franchise. The designs were a lot better than previous generations for the most part. It also introduced the physical and special split in moves.

Gen 2 is best. The remakes only enforced how great it was. In terms of designs, prefer much of gen 1. Story I'd say gen 5 did it nicely. Probably my second favorite gen.
