Birds of a feather...

So I am a rather... reclusive person... I don't like going out much, unless it's with my close friends. And even now I can't help but feel disconnected from them... So, I came around looking for a place where maybe I can belong, meet new people who have similar interests to me. My friends are cool, but I often find myself not knowing what to talk about... and stay quiet as a result. Anyone find themselves in a similar position?

I don't have any close friends but everyone I talk to at conventions is new. So I am always talking about series panels etc... I felt like you all do. But talking to random people seems to make it easier every time.

I meant to post before getting locked out. Last con at Otakon I was so proud of my self. I manage some bravery and spoke to Aya Hirano in Japanese when she signed a cd for me. It was awesome and memorable. Specially since I only learn about her at the beginning of this year. I want to meet so many more.
