There were a couple people who were robbed because someone did do just as the second article said, but the people were kind of dumb going to a kind of secluded place in the middle of the night. I remember when pokemon first came out and how "dangerous" it was because some stupid kids played long enough to hurt their necks while inattentive adults didn't stop them. Again, not the game's fault.People are just stupid, no matter the activity. Besides, these stories make for higher traffic to sites that don't really care about the real issues.

Theres been reports of people getting robbed via pokelures cuz crimminals lured them into shadey places though that might be bogus. either way use your head people dont go stupid places its just a game--- ALSO DONT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD (i've seen too many people do that outside my apartment aaaaahg)

That's not Pokémon or Niantic's fault. I'd say that's the fault of the boy for not having common sense and for not reading the ToS. Might get bashed for this from gun lovers but the situation could of been dealt with peacefully and would of resulted in one less loss of life if civilians weren't allowed guns.
