Anyone else a fan of the Resident Evil games? I personally love the stories, music, gameplay, etc. present in almost every installment.
My favorite games in the series are the REmake, 2, Zero, Code Veronica X, and 4 and my favorite characters are Jill, Leon, Claire, Billy, and Rebecca.
I'd be down to hear anyone else's thoughts and/or opinions on the franchise. XD

I started playing all the main entry titles since REmake came out on Gamecube, the two REvelation side games and Mercenaries. My 3DS box actually reads: Resident Evil Revelaitons. I might have to get a PS4 for the release of RE7 this coming January. And my fave character will always be nurse Becky:

Oh you got the Revelations game that still had the Misspelled Sidebar? Cool. And Nurse Rebecca is definitely amazing.

I'm a big fan - especially of RE2. I also enjoyed RE5 a lot despite it being more action oriented than horror - it was due to having a lot of fun with the game alongside a friend.

I played 1, 2 and Code Veronica.
I like characteristics of an escape horror movie which manages with a little ammunition and tool.^^

I've always thoroughly enjoyed the Resident Evil games - one of the main things that draws me to them has always been the creative and grotesque monster designs. Some of my favourites are mutated William Birkin from Resident Evil 2, the U-3 and Regenerators/Iron Maidens from 4 and the Bloodshots and HAOS (Even though he's an asshole) from Resident Evil 6 (And yes I like Resident Evil 6, shut up).
My personal favourite is Resident Evil 4 though - even if it technically "killed" Resident Evil as a survival horor, it's just a bloody awesome and insanely fun game to play.

Yeah, I have Biohazard Revelations 2 on steam; first chapter, if that counts. I've played the entire game, and I really enjoyed it. The newer games though for some reason I just can't get into them. Not sure if it's the plot, mechanics, or just the games in general. The older ones were quite good.

I'm a pretty huge fan of the series, although admittedly I got on board the fan train kinda late compared to other people. My first game was Resident Evil 5, through coop play, and me and my friend had an absolute blast with it, despite the sometimes awkward tank controls. Afterwards I went back and played RE4, RE Remake, RE2, and Code Veronica, and even though it took some adjusting to get used to the older games' fixed camera angles, obscure puzzles, and incredibly cheesy dialogue (even in REmake), I gained an appreciation for what they were nonetheless.
And compared to many old-school RE fans, I absolutely love RE6, and it's one of my favorite games in the series despite being hugely inconsistent in quality throughout its four campaigns. The game mechanics are exceptional, especially compared to the unwieldy tank controls of old, and they really shine in Mercenaries mode. The game isn't remotely scary (I didn't find the old games to be either), nor does it ever seem like its trying to be, but it absolutely nails over-the-top action like few triple A games can. I'm kinda glad the series is returning to its roots with RE7, but I'm not upset with what RE6 is, and I almost wish they'd continue this style of gameplay in a spin-off series featuring Jake and Sherry.
