Anyone actually here for dating?

Came here for dating at the beginning before I found how much of a fun place it is. Still looking but not very much these days, met some cool peeps here and that's what keeps me around. ...But if I'm going to be honest, all these couples appearing lately is happy news, but it makes me pretty jealous. And then I remember my location in the world, it would be hard to see each other. I do want to love and be loved, but it's not a high priority

I'm pretty much here for friends, a relationship if possible, etc. Although the prospect of dealing with an LDR is not high on my want list atm.

I'm here to make friends and talk to like minded people. I just want to have fun and maybe a little flirt. I'm not looking for a relationship in general tbh but sometimes they happen with out warning so not ruling it out.

I'll happily take up any dating opportunities, but I'm focusing more on making friends because there's less disappointment involved. There aren't really enough local females for me to talk to, and even then most of them would probably prefer someone with more common interests.

I joined for the dating part mainly but gradually turned to love the social side as well, still looking as who knows what will happen ^^ The site was launched in July 2009 I believe so it's kind of lost the dating aspect, it's still there just not as prominent as the social aspect. maybe the social side (forums) is what will bring the two together rather than the actual dating side :)
