Looking for a reltionship, but don't know didly squat.

I'm trying to find a relationship or at least trying to find a friend to geek out, but I'm having a crappy time finding one. I need some advice big time. Any pointers will help.

There's an audiobook that can be downloaded from Itunes called "Mate: How to be the man women want", which really down the evolutionary dynamics of male and female attraction, how different types of relationships work, why they work that way, and generally how to go about navigating the world to find them, in a non manipulative way. Although written for men, I think it could be reverse engineered by women who are thinking of reading it. Its a great place to start and bypass all that pickup artist stuff that really doesn't get you anywhere except out the door. As for nerdy girls, I'm with you on this one, and I recommend anime conventions, Japanese style arcades, and manga sections in Barnes and Noble. Get social, poke around, and figure out where the single geeky women like to go.
