The Babadook is my recommendation. Definitely a good horror movie if you don't like the usual jump scare type of horror movies that are popular today.

Rec 1 and Rec 2 Dunno if they are Hulu or Netflix actually... but worth looking into.

Go for cheesy B list horrors like Zoombies or Zombeavers, if you want a good laugh. I saw Babadook and really wasn't all that impressed.
