How much time should you wait before having sex with your partner?

Personally, at least 3 months (but that's only because I'm monogamous as hell and would never do a one night stand again lol). Enough time for that connection but not "starvation" as others have mentioned. While low on the list (especially mine) intimacy is very important so while I respect boundaries waiting "till death do us part" to fool around would be about my only dealbreaker there.

There are some people that have sex shortly after they know so it depends I usually wait till I feel comfortable and of course she should feel comfortable too. To me I only can kiss or sex someone if I know that person and I am sure that there is a future and I have to love that person in some way I would feel disgusted if I share a bed with someone who I don´t know very well even kissing feels wrong

this is an interesting thread as long as your partner needs aslong as they have an understandable reason for waiting

It depends, people have different needs, some people are scared because they have been hurt in the past or they are afraid they will be hurt. However there is a point where you just want to be as close to your partner as possible or atleast thats how I feel about it currently. Sex should be looked at as a important, enjoyable step in a relationship but not the whole thing.
