A fantasy world.

Hi guys! I had this idea I really liked for a fantasy setting where people could roleplay in! It's similar to a typical fantasy setting, but instead of having medieval influences, it would be influenced by different periods of American history. For example, I imagined one of the races to be a Satyr race loosely based off of the traditional cowboy image of the West. What do you guys think? Also, if you want to know more, just ask! (also, anyone who wants to collaborate with me is more than welcomed to!)

Define American history; Just the western stuff or will there be Civil War, 1812, American war for Independence, thirteen colonies, New world prior to European settlers Influences. Will French, Spanish, Mexican colonisation influence your world if at all? What of history outside the borders? I.E Such as Spanish-American war (First use of the Machine gun for america) How will culture/pop-culture define the world? meaning weaved within the races of said world?

I'm planning on basing each of the races(as well as their relations) off of different cultures and parts of American history, including Native American, western, colonial, Aztec, etc. As for outside the borders... thinking about it.
