MO Meetup/Convention

Oosh yeah it can get pretty expensive. It's $50 for a one day ticket and $70 for all four days. And the merchandise. Don't even get me started. If you want to cosplay, it can get expensive. On average, I spend around $350. $70 (since I usually go for 4 days but I'm going to Vegas from the 2nd - 5th) $100 for cosplay and the rest is just spending money for posters, random clothing, food, and maybe a night at hotel with 5 other people.

@mango if you play your cards right, one night would only cost around $50 (I say only). Especially since you're female, you can look for forums for all female hotel rooms. You can go mixed if you want as well. Basically speaking, it's better for females over all. Although AX has a TON of creepers. There are people there who would slip a pill in a drink.

Also, at the males, you're also not safe. People in Lounge 21 would also slip pills into your drinks. Basically, as long as you use common sense economically and safely, you should be okay.

It happens every year haha, there's no need to rush. I plan these things months in advanced. I ask for these specific days off every year. But, it's probably the most enjoyable thing I do every year. I've been to EDC and countless Jazz festivals, but Anime Expo is my favorite thing to do. Although my heels always end up hurting midway on the first day.

Slipping pills in drinks, bloody hell. That is why it is better to get your own drinks (don't leave them around) and stay in a group you can trust. Be careful you guys, Cali is a freaky place, I know because I am from there.
